Thank you to Orange Leaf in Westerville for hosting a fundraiser for Fernanda and her family last Thursday. It was a HUGE success! I dropped a check off to the family this afternoon. They are VERY grateful to everyone who is supporting their baby girl while she battles brain cancer. Please continue to send prayers…

This is the week we will be awarding the third annual Faith Scholarship to a Westerville senior. This year’s recipient is graduating from North and plans to attend Anderson University in the fall where she will be double majoring in DANCE and business. CONGRATULATIONS TO MADISON CORDLE!
Please pray for a Westerville School family who recently lost EVERYTHING but the clothes they were wearing in a home fire. Unfortunately they were renting and had NO insurance but thankfully mom, dad and all five kids are safe!
The Ohio School for the Deaf will host Alex’s Lemonade Stand this week–May 6-10th from 12:00-1:30 at Panera Bread in Clintonville–4519 N High St. Their fundraiser will benefit a Columbus firefighter who’s son is battling leukemia. Please drop by and make a donation for a good cause.

When I saw the picture 8 year old, Martin Richard drew at school before he died in the Boston Marathon tragedy I couldn’t help but think about the one little Faith made at school before she was sick. I don’t know what you call it…foreshadowing?

If you haven’t heard…little Fernanda is a two year old from Westerville who is battling brain cancer. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
Baby Fernanda and her three big sisters will have a happy Easter thanks to Miss Melissa Taylor, her student council kids and the generous families at Emerson. Fernanda’s biggest sister, Cristina, is a 3rd grader at Emerson Elementary.
We had a very successful event! Still waiting on the totals. Thank you to everyone who helped out in so many different ways!!

GREAT NEWS… Scholarship applications will be in shortly and it looks like year number 3 has the most applicants yet! Can hardly wait until May when Faith’s mom, Sarah McGuire Worley and I award $1000 to a lucky Westerville High School senior.
