Alex’s Lemonade Stand
The Ohio School for the Deaf will host Alex’s Lemonade Stand this week–May 6-10th from 12:00-1:30 at Panera Bread in Clintonville–4519 N High St. Their fundraiser will benefit a Columbus firefighter who’s son is battling leukemia. Please drop by and make a donation for a good cause.

Cancer is the number one cause of death in children age 5-14. ~ ~ Cancer takes the lives of 7 children a day on average. ~ ~ The causes of most childhood cancers are unknown. ~ ~ At present, childhood cancer cannot be prevented.
Deadline March 31, 2014
Faith’s Cancer Kids Scholarship application deadline is coming up in March. If you know a graduating senior attending a Central Ohio School (public or private) that is a cancer survivor or is currently coping with a cancer diagnosis, encourage them to apply.
A Memorial Scholarship begins
It was two years ago today, Aug. 7th 2010, Faith lost her courageous battle with brian cancer. While she was sick, Faith asked me to not let people forget her…and this is why the FAITH PRUDEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was started.
